Emtee and AKA set to collaborate on new track

We all knew it was coming and now it’s official! Young rapper Emtee and hip-hop star AKA are working on another song together.

 The two have been flirting with the idea of a collaboration for several weeks already‚ but AKA on Thursday confirmed the collaboration in an Instagram post.

Posting a picture of a make-shift studio in his Durban hotel room‚ AKA wrote: “Always working. Myself and Emtee about to put in this work. Let’s get the creative juices flowing.
Both stars are in Durban for the South African Music Awards to be held this weekend at the Durban ICC. The pair have worked once before on a remix of Emtee’s hit single Roll Up.
The news comes hot on the heels of reports that AKA is set to release a new collaboration with DJ Vigilante‚ Nasty C and K.O.
Speaking to TMG Entertainment when the collab was first announced DJ Vigilante said that he was excited to have AKA‚ K.O and Nasty C on one track.
“I’ve always seen them as kind of the leaders of the game and so I decided to try get them all on one track to kind of bring together and showcase the three generations of hip-hop.”
