RiRi debuts new heartfelt theme song for Star Trek Beyond

Los Angeles – The main attraction of Star Trek's latest trailer is Rihanna's powerful ballad.
The Work singer released Sledgehammer, the theme song for Star Trek Beyond.
The trailer opens with a narration from Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) reflecting on his position as Captain of the Starship Enterprise.
The tone then changes when the starship is overcome by aliens.
Rihanna's vocals soar as the crew fight off ruthless aliens.
Nothing new is revealed in this trailer as footage of the previous ones were recycled.
The release of the trailer comes as stars of the film continue to mourn Anton Yelchin who died tragically a week ago.



The 28-year-old singer who is a big Star Trek fan took to Instagram to reveal her excitement about being part of the project.
