5 things you didn’t know about the people’s bae

Cape Town - Mbuyiseni Ndlozi makes headlines for his well-informed statements in SA’s parliament as well as his good looks, but did you know that he’s a Wits scholar and a singer?
That’s right, the EFF spokesperson has a lot to offer, so we've made a list of 5 things you might not know about him.
Like more about his uncle who was a part of the fight against apartheid and the political organisations he joined in his youth.
5 things you didn't know about the people’s bae: 
1. His uncle was imprisoned in 1992 by the apartheid police force because of his involvement in the fight against the old regime. This sparked the young Ndlozi’s political awakening.
2. He sings. Here’s a video of Ndlozi singing Azania at an EFF gathering.
3. He was a member of the ANC Youth League but left when Julius Malema did to follow him to the EFF.
4. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is a PhD student in Political Sociology at the University of Witwatersrand, according to his blog on The People's Assembly website.
5. He served in the Palestinian solidarity movement, dating back to 2011.
