Ayariga must change his ‘political attitude’ - Sam Payne
Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Payne has advised the Flagbearer of the All People's Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga to be serious in his political endeavour.
According to Sam Payne, the APC presidential candidate should not repeat the attitude that he showed during the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) Presidential debate in 2012.
Speaking on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman was of a strong view that Ghanaians have become discerning and so would not tolerate the "unserious behaviour" of Mr. Ayariga.
“We welcome him but this time round, he should show some sense of seriousness. We don’t want him to repeat his incident on IEA platform – the 'Ayaricough' – Ghanaians have become wild.”
He further slammed Mr. Ayariga for purportedly posing minors as delegates during the party's national congress.
To him, the presence of the minors as national delegates is very disturbing and should not be encouraged by the APC presidential candidate.
He also wondered why Hassan Ayariga and his executives all went unopposed because this trend is a novelty in Ghana's political climate.
