Kevin Hart calls out man who allegedly robbed him of $500G, but turns out photo is stock art
The recently burglarized comedian posted a photo on social media Wednesday showing a masked man flagrantly staring up at a camera in what appears to be the commission of a crime.
In his Instagram caption, the “Central Intelligence” star asked his 37 million followers to help him catch the alleged crook.
“Here is a picture from the security cameras of the jacka** that's been robbing houses,” Hart wrote.
“Real smart move wearing the cool ski mask that shows ur eyebrows & the bags under ur eyes. We are on yo a** man....I'm about to show u the power of social media.”
Hart said he wanted to “play a game of tell on the robber real quick.
“Who knows, I might get lucky!!!!!” he wrote.

More than 2,000 fans commented on the photo, many guessing at the man’s identity.
Turns out the snap is a stock image from a photo service that recently got posted on TMZ.com.
Attempts to reach a representative for Hart were not immediately successful Wednesday.
Hart’s house was broken into June 10 while the funnyman was out of town.
Police said clothes, jewelry, watches and other personal items worth approximately $500,000 were swiped.
Authorities reportedly are looking at the possibility Hart’s case could be linked to other recent home burglaries involving celebrities in his upscale area of the San Fernando Valley.
Unidentified sources told TMZ.com there’s a common modus operandi at play in the break-ins at the homes of singer Chris Brown, reality TV star Scott Disick, model Blac Chyna and now Hart.
Law enforcement wants to know if the break-ins are part of a new “bling ring” like the one that terrorized Hollywood back in 2008 “It’s possible, but it could also be a series of inside jobs,” one LAPD source with knowledge of the bling ring investigation told the Daily News.

“Celebrities can be easy targets. Their homes are more like facilities with staffs than regular homes. And they tend to lack military precision, so it just takes a little luck getting inside, not Bourne Identity skill. Maybe someone just left the side door open for deliveries,” the source said.
Cash and jewelry worth an estimated $200,000 were taken from a safe inside Blac Chyna's Tarzana home back in late April or early May, with police reportedly suspecting an inside job.
An estimated $50,000 was taken from Chris Brown's safe during a home invasion last July.
The notorious Bling Ring of celebrity-obsessed teens and 20-somethings that targeted Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom several years ago made off with more than $3 million in clothing and jewelry.
Surveillance footage helped lead to the convictions of key members including ringleaders Rachel Lee and Nick Prugo.
The covetous caper inspired the 2013 movie “The Bling Ring” directed by Sofia Coppola.
