Mark Salling changes lawyer in child porn case
Los Angeles — An actor who starred on the musical dramedy Glee has a new lawyer to represent him in a federal child pornography case.
A federal judge on Monday approved Mark Salling's request to have a new lawyer represent him and set his next court date for 19 September.
Salling's new attorney, Michael J. Proctor, did not return an email seeking comment.
The 33-year-old actor pleaded not guilty on June 3 to two counts receiving and possessing child pornography. No trial date has been set.
Salling played bad-boy Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the Fox musical dramedy. He was released after posting $150 000 bail.
Police raided his home in December and seized a laptop, hard drive and flash drive they say contained images and videos depicting child pornography.
